Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to LINKAGE: Journal Linguistics and English Educational Knowledge undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the published articles. The journal applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

Initial Screening

After submission, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal’s focus and scope, follows the author guidelines, and meets basic academic writing standards. The manuscript may also be checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software.

Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to two or more independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:

• Originality and contribution to the field

• Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

• Clarity of research objectives and methodology

• Quality of analysis and discussion

• Academic writing quality and organization

Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations to help improve the quality of the manuscript.

Review Decision

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

• Accept Submission

• Revisions Required (Minor or Major Revisions)

• Resubmit for Review

• Decline Submission

Authors will be asked to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments before the final decision is made.

Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority to accept or reject a manuscript for publication based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revised manuscript.

Publication

Once a manuscript is accepted, it will proceed to the editing, layout, and proofreading stages before being published in the journal issue according to the publication schedule.
